Living in the Resurrection of Christ

The Word of God declares that the resurrection is both a future event and a daily living reality. Every day the Father calls me to rise up out of my “terminal cancer” and walk by faith in the resurrection of Christ. Jesus declares, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.” John 11.25,26. The enemy came to rob, kill and destroy, but Christ came to give us life. John 10:10. The enemy speaks death into me through stage four cancer and severe arthritis but every day Jesus speaks life into me and I stand up by faith and walk with Him in the resurrection power of Christ. I choose not to submit to the lies of the enemy but I stand on the power of God’s word. Jesus declares that his Word is Spirit and Life. John 6:63. Every day God I choose to believe God and He raises me up out of death, sickness, pain, discouragement and depression and I walk with him in heavenly places. By the grace of God, I walk by faith and fulfill the…

The Power of Forgiveness

As this world falls away from God, we see more anger, bitterness, division, condemnation, persecution, hate, rudeness, jealousy, violence, vengeance and intolerance. This plague of hate and evil inspired by the devil is rapidly taking over our world. The Word of God teaches that in these days wickedness will be multiplied and cause most men’s love to grow cold. Matthew 24:12. How do we defeat the power of hate and evil? The word teaches, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12.21. God’s Word explains that His unconditional love in us will overcome the hate in this world. He commands us to “love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.” Luke 6:27, 28. The passage continues to inform us that we are commanded to give to those who beg, forgive others and we will be forgiven and show mercy instead of judgement and condemnation. We change ourselves and the world around us by forgiving others. God’s Word teaches us to release our anger every day before it turns into bitterness. Ephesians 4:26-32. Forgiveness releases the power of hate and bitterness so that…

Miracles of God

God's Miracles: God has performed many miracles during the past 20 years of ministry. In the late 90's, The Lord had called me to do several weekly nursing home services. One Sunday as I was preparing for the service in the Chapel, a lady in a wheelchair told me that a terminal patient down the hall had been unplugged from life support and was expected to die several days ago. She believed that there was a reason that he was still alive. I went into the room and the man was lying motionless on the bed. The Holy Spirit told me to lead him in a sinners prayer even though he couldn't physically respond. I prayed with him and then asked the Lord to take him with angels to Heaven. His two daughters were in the room and I asked them if they were believers. They told me that they didn't know Jesus and I led both of them to Christ. I returned to the Chapel and the lady in the wheelchair joined us several minutes later and told me that the man had just passed away. She stayed for the service and gave her life to Christ during the…

Prayer

Prayer Changes us: Prayer changes us because it takes our focus off of ourselves and our problems and causes us to look up to God. The Bible commands us not to worry but instead pray and put our trust in God. "Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let you requests be made known to God. And the peace of which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6,7. The Bible promises that the Lord will fill us with peace when we stop worrying and begin to pray." I pray to the Father, "Please take away this fear and worry. I place it all in Your Hands because I trust Your Love. I am safe in Your Arms and I rest in Your Presence. I need not fear because You are with me. You Love me and You will keep me from Harm. I trust Your love". The Prayer Closet: We need to find a place to separate from this world and be alone with God. Moses pitched the Tent of Meeting outside the camp for people to seek the Lord. "Now Moses used to take…

In the Name of Love

In the Name of Love Verse 1: Another life is taken, another baby dies; in a world of hatred it all seems right. Another man is dying on the streets alone; without a family, without a home. Chorus: In the name of Jesus, in the name of God, in the name of heaven, in the name of love. In a Christian nation, in the Church of God, any name your using, it isn't love. Verse 2: Another home is broken, another family dies; another child is weeping, asking "Why". Another heart is broken, another lie is told; another finger's pointed, another love grows cold. Chorus.
